Posted Nov 1, 2016 – International Saturdays

Ambassadors just concluded an 8-week Saturday morning recreational program.  45 children, ages 4-11, from about 9 different countries came together every Saturday morning to practice new skills and have fun playing this great game.  Great job to players and coaches.  See you at the next session that starts in January 2017.

Posted July 21, 2016 – Summer Camp

It is summer time for the international schools in Thailand, which means it is camp time!  We just finished a 4 day camp where kids learned some new skills and had lots of fun.  It was a great week, with great campers, great coaches, great weather and great football.  Well done everyone!

Posted May 23, 2016 – Torch Tournament

AFC just finished competing in the U-14 Torch League this past weekend.  AFC had two teams participating in the 5-week competition.  Our ‘farang’ team had a disappointing loss on the final day to finish in 3rd place, while our ‘thai’ team finished 5th.  We are proud of how the teams performed in their first ever competition and saw great promise for future competitions.

A big thank you to Torch FC for hosting the tournament and creating a fun, positive atmosphere.  Looking forward to next time.

Posted Feb 10,2016 – TREC Level 1

On Jan 12-16, in partnership with Chiang Rai Football School, Ambassadors trained a group of 14 men in our Level 1 TREC program (Training, Resources, Equipping Coaches/Churches).  Delegates included Thai, Brazilian, Australian, and even Mongolian coaches.  It was a great week of considering how football might be used for the purposes of ministry, as well as instructing the delegates how to coach basic techniques of football.  All the delegates did a great job and we are excited to see how God will use them in the present/future.
